Longreach State High School values the input of students in our decision-making processes and recognises the important traditions of student leadership.
Numerous opportunities exist for students aspiring to leadership roles. The student body is represented by two school captains from year 12, two junior captains from year 9, house leaders, and student council, which encompasses representatives from all year levels.
All roles are appointed through a recruitment process that includes a written application, an interview, and a staff and student endorsement process.
